Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy applies to explorecancerpaths.org, operated by Precision IO Group Inc. (“Precision IO,” “we,” “us”). It explains how we handle consumer health data, as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. We apply this policy to all visitors, no matter where in the United States you live.
1. Consumer health data we collect and why
- Health-topic pages you view and whether you download a Discussion Guide (only with your consent, through Google Analytics). We use this to measure, in aggregate, whether this educational program is reaching people.
- Your IP address together with the address of the page you requested (in server and security logs). We use this only to deliver and secure the website you requested.
- Health information you choose to include in a Contact Us message, such as a report of a problem with a medical device. We use this to respond to your request and, for device problems, to meet safety-reporting obligations.
Your answers to the educational self-assessment are not collected. The self-assessment runs entirely within your own browser. Your answers are never transmitted to us, never stored by us, and never included in analytics.
2. Sources
We collect consumer health data directly from you and automatically from your browser or device when you use this site.
3. Consumer health data we share and why
- Analytics data is processed by Google LLC, our service provider, to provide the analytics service. We have turned off Google’s advertising features. Our analytics account is connected to our Google Ads account so that our analytics can report how visitors arrived at this site, including from our own advertisements; we do not send analytics data to Google Ads, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences or to target advertising to you.
- Server and security log data is processed by WP Engine, Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc., our service providers, to host, deliver, and secure the site.
- Any message you send us that describes a possible problem with a medical device or an injury is shared with our affiliate, NeuWave Medical, Inc., the device manufacturer, so the report can be investigated and, where required, reported to the FDA. We share only what is needed for that purpose.
4. Third parties and affiliates
We do not share consumer health data with any third party other than the service providers listed above. We do not sell consumer health data.
5. Your rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; to access it; to receive a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared or sold it, with their contact information; to withdraw your consent; and to have your consumer health data deleted. To make a request, use the Contact Us page (select “Privacy request”), email info@neuwave.com, or write to Precision IO Group Inc., 9905 NW 17th Street, Suite 108, Miami, FL 33172. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing info@neuwave.com with “Appeal” in the subject line, and we will respond in writing within 45 days. If you are not satisfied with the result of your appeal, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General or the Attorney General in your state.
