Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of this website, operated by Precision IO Group Inc. (“Precision IO,” “we,” “us”). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this website. We recommend you print or save a copy for your records.
1. Who this website is for
This website is intended for and directed to residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. By using it, you affirm that you are 18 or older. This website provides general educational information; it is sponsored by Precision IO Group, as described on the About This Site page.
2. Educational purpose only — no medical advice
The information on this website is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. It is not medical advice, is not intended to be used for medical diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional advice and care from a qualified healthcare provider who knows your unique circumstances. Using this website does not create a doctor–patient or other clinical relationship with Precision IO Group or any of its affiliates. Always seek the advice of your doctor or another qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition, and never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read on this site. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911.
3. No treatment determinations
Whether any treatment, including microwave ablation, is appropriate for a particular patient can only be determined by that patient’s own care team. The educational self-assessment on this site does not and cannot determine whether you or anyone else is a candidate for any treatment, and its results are not medical advice.
4. No endorsement or referral
Precision IO Group and its affiliates do not endorse, recommend, or refer patients to any physician, hospital, or treatment center. Any provider or center information on this site is offered for convenience only. You are responsible for selecting your own healthcare providers. Any list of treatment centers on this site includes facilities that, to our knowledge, have an active program performing image-guided ablation of liver tumors, with interventional radiology on staff and a multidisciplinary tumor board. Inclusion is not based on the purchase or use of any Precision IO Group product, and no one pays to be listed. A facility that meets these criteria may ask to be added by contacting us. A listing is not a recommendation.
5. Ownership and permitted use
This website and its content are the property of Precision IO Group or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The website is made available for your personal, non-commercial use, free of charge. You are granted a nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable, limited license to view, download, and print pages from this site — including the Discussion Guide — for your personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you do not remove or obscure any copyright or other notices. Any other reproduction, modification, distribution, republication, display, or commercial use of this site’s content requires our prior written permission. We review the content of this site periodically, but medical knowledge changes and some content may not reflect the most recent developments. Always talk with your care team about your own situation.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or fraudulent, or in any way that violates these Terms;
- Interfere with the operation of the website or the servers and networks that make it available, including by hacking, defacing, or overloading any part of it;
- Post, transmit, or make available through the website any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access, retrieve, index, or “data mine” the website’s content, or systematically download and store its content, except that public search engines may use spiders to create publicly available searchable indices in accordance with our robots.txt file;
- Collect information about other users of the website by any means;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the website, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- Perform or disclose any security testing of the website or its infrastructure — including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or password cracking — without our prior written consent;

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for the equipment and telecommunications services you need to use the website. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you, and we may restrict or terminate access to the website at our discretion.
7. Communications you send us
This website does not host forums, comments, or other user postings. The only way to send us information through the site is the Contact Us page, and anything you submit there is governed by our Privacy Policy. If you voluntarily send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the website, you agree that doing so is gratuitous and unrestricted: we may use such feedback for any lawful purpose without obligation or compensation to you, and it will not be treated as confidential. Please do not send us anything you wish to keep confidential. This paragraph does not apply to privacy requests or to any message that describes a possible problem with a medical device or an injury, however it is submitted. Those messages are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Electronic communications
When you communicate with us through this website or by email, you are communicating with us electronically, and you agree that we may respond electronically. Electronic communications, notices, and disclosures we provide to you have the same force and effect as if they were in writing and signed.
9. Claims of copyright infringement
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe in good faith that your copyrighted work has been copied on this website in a way that constitutes infringement, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, to our designated agent: Precision IO Group Inc., Attn: DMCA Agent, 9905 NW 17th Street, Suite 108, Miami, FL 33172. Your notice must include:
- The name, email address, physical address, and physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on this website, including a URL where possible;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Upon receipt of a complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question.
10. Third-party links
This site links to third-party resources (for example, patient advocacy organizations and government sites). These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites or their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of third-party websites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Third-party information has not been reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and we do not intend it to promote any use of a medical device that is not consistent with its FDA-cleared labeling.
11. Modification or suspension of the website
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the website available, but we may interrupt, restrict, modify, or discontinue the website or any part of it, temporarily or permanently, at any time without notice, and we will not be responsible for any resulting harm or loss.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THIS WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PRECISION IO GROUP EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE CHANGES, AND CONTENT MAY NOT REFLECT THE MOST RECENT DEVELOPMENTS. ANY MATERIAL YOU DOWNLOAD OR OBTAIN THROUGH THE WEBSITE IS OBTAINED AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED BY YOU FROM US OR THROUGH THE WEBSITE CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY MADE IN THESE TERMS.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PRECISION IO GROUP, ITS AFFILIATES (INCLUDING NEUWAVE MEDICAL), AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR AGGRAVATED DAMAGES OF ANY KIND — INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS WEBSITE, ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY. OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$100), REFLECTING THAT THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; IN THAT CASE, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Nothing in these Terms limits or affects your rights, or the obligations of any manufacturer, with respect to any medical device, or your ability to report a device problem to the manufacturer or to the FDA.
14. Indemnification
If you intentionally misuse this website, for example by attempting to hack, disrupt, or scrape it, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Precision IO Group and its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from that misuse, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Termination
If you fail to comply with these Terms, you must immediately stop using the website. We may terminate or restrict your access to the website at any time. The sections of these Terms concerning ownership, trademarks, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive any termination.
16. Trademarks
Trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed on this website are the property of Precision IO Group, its affiliates, or third-party owners. You may not use or display any of them without the prior written consent of their owner.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the website or in the law — by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Changes do not apply to any dispute arising before they were posted. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of them.
18. Governing law and venue
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. All disputes arising out of or relating to this website or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you waive any objection to jurisdiction, venue, or inconvenient forum in those courts.
19. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is severable and the remaining provisions remain in full force. No waiver of any breach is a waiver of any other breach. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign ours without restriction. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us, and no other person has any rights to enforce them. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any notices posted on the website, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the website. This website may contain or rely on open-source software components, which are used in accordance with their applicable license terms. A printed version of these Terms and of any electronic notice will be admissible in proceedings to the same extent as other business records.
20. Contact
